Artifactor privacy

Artifactor collects nothing. It is a browser extension with no backend. Nothing you open, edit, or save is transmitted anywhere.

No server, no accounts, no telemetry

There is no sign-in, no analytics, and no usage tracking. Artifactor makes no network requests to any Colliber or third-party server.

Your files stay on your machine

Documents are read and written locally through the browser’s File System Access API. Artifactor only touches a file after you pick it or open it, and only writes where you point it.

Local storage only

Recent-file handles and per-document settings live in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB and extension storage) on your device. Clearing the extension’s data removes them.

Where it runs

Artifactor runs on local .html files and on Claude artifact pages (*.claudeusercontent.com, claude.site) so it can offer to open a document you are viewing. It reads a page’s content only when you invoke it — clicking the chip or the toolbar icon.
