That document wasn’t raw AI — someone finished it in Artifactor. You can too.

Claude drafts it. You finish it.

Artifactor is a free Chrome extension that opens an artifact from Claude as a file you own. Edit the words, recolor it to your brand, export a clean PDF.

No account, no server. Nothing leaves your machine.

Free · opens any local HTML artifact too, from any AI

After installing, open the document you received again and click the Artifactor button in Chrome’s toolbar.

Change the words

Click any text and type. Move a section, delete a block, undo anything. No code, no regenerate loop.

Put your brand on it

The document’s own colors appear as a palette. Change one swatch and it updates everywhere. Swap the font from a curated list.

Ship it

Export a PDF shaped by the document itself, with page breaks where they belong. Or present it fullscreen, straight from the file.

The /artifactor skill for Claude

Add the /artifactor skill and every artifact Claude makes opens at full strength in the editor: palette panel, font pickers, block editing, clean PDF export. Ask Claude for a report, a one-pager, a deck — then finish it here.

Download the skill and add it to Claude: on claude.ai under Settings › Capabilities › Skills, or unzipped into ~/.claude/skills for Claude Code.

Questions

Can I edit a Claude artifact after the conversation?

Yes. Download the artifact as an HTML file, or open it from the artifact page with Artifactor’s toolbar button. From then on it’s a file on your machine — every edit saves in place, no chat needed.

How do I turn a Claude artifact into a PDF?

Open it in Artifactor and export. The page shape and breaks derive from the document itself, so cards stay whole and headings keep their sections.

Does it work with ChatGPT or Gemini documents?

Any self-contained HTML file opens, whichever AI made it. The proactive integrations are Claude-first.

What is the “Not raw AI” badge?

The pill in the corner of this page. Documents saved with Artifactor carry it as a mark that a person finished the work — edited, branded, shipped. It’s free to remove, per document, in Settings.
